Characteristics and installation requirements of steel wire braided rubber hose engineering machinery
Time:2023-12-11Page views:1150The main raw material for steel wire braided rubber hoses is rubber, which comes in various types including natural rubber, butadiene rubber, and styrene butadiene rubber. Oil resistant rubber hoses can be made of chloroprene rubber and nitrile rubber. Acid alkali and high temperature resistant rubber hoses can be made of ethylene propylene rubber. Rubber or silicone rubber hoses are composed of an inner rubber layer, an outer rubber layer, and a skeleton layer. The skeleton layer is made of various materials, such as cotton fiber, synthetic fiber, carbon fiber or asbestos, steel wire, etc. The performance and purpose of rubber hoses are different, which also determines which type of rubber is used for the inner and outer layers, and which material is used for the skeleton layer.
1、 Rubber hose characteristics
1. Made of special synthetic rubber, it has excellent heat resistance, oil resistance, aging resistance, wear resistance, and ozone oxidation resistance.
2. Capable of withstanding high voltage and possessing excellent pulse performance.
3. The pipe body is tightly bonded, soft to use, and has minimal deformation under pressure.
4. Has excellent bending resistance and fatigue resistance.
2、 Installation requirements
1. When installing rubber hoses for construction machinery, it is necessary to avoid being in a tight state and leave a corresponding length allowance. Even if there is no relative movement between the two ends of the hose, it should remain loose.
When subjected to pressure, the length and diameter will change. Therefore, the compressed pipe will expand under pressure, resulting in a decrease in strength. Do not come into contact with other rubber hoses or pipes during installation to avoid wear and tear. In areas where steel wire braided rubber hoses may cross or rub against mechanical surfaces during operation, protective devices such as throat clamps and yellow shields should be used to prevent wear of the outer rubber layer.
2. The elbow and hose joint should be installed on the same plane to prevent rotation. In special circumstances, if the joints at both ends need to be on two different planes, clamps should be installed at appropriate positions to divide the rubber hose into two parts, so that each part is on the same plane.
When the traffic pipeline needs to be bent, sharp bends should be avoided, and the bending radius should be greater than or equal to (9-10d), where d is the outer diameter of the hose. The straight section from the joint of the engineering machinery rubber hose to the beginning of the bend should be greater than six times the outer diameter of the pipeline.
Various specifications of steel wire braided rubber hoses and assemblies are mainly used in construction machinery and are necessary components for the normal operation of construction machinery. During the installation process, strict adherence to the above requirements and precautions is required to ensure the stability and safety of subsequent use of construction machinery. During installation, avoid twisting the hose. When the rubber hose is slightly twisted, its strength may decrease or the joint may loosen.
