Selection and assembly precautions for steel wire braided rubber hoses
Time:2023-07-11Page views:1399Rubber hoses are becoming increasingly widely used in various industries and have become a common product in social industrial products. Operational errors during use can reduce the service life of steel wire braided rubber hoses, therefore there are corresponding regulations in normal use.
1、 Selection precautions
1. Pressure: The working pressure specified by the hose should be greater than the system pressure. If the impact pressure of the system is higher than the working pressure specified by the hose, it will reduce the service life of the hydraulic hose and may also pose hidden dangers.
2. Temperature: The fluid temperature and ambient temperature, whether stable or instantaneous, must not exceed the temperature resistance limit of the hose.
3. Fluid compatibility: The fluid inside the pipeline must meet the requirements of the "purpose" in the product catalog. Using beyond the specified limits cannot ensure the service life and safety of the pipeline.
4. Appropriate end connection: Nuts are widely used due to their convenient connection and low cost, but when there is a large vibration, the loosening of the nut should be fully considered, and flange connection is recommended.
2、 Assembly precautions
1. The bending radius of the hose should not be too small, generally not less than twice the outer diameter of the pipeline in a straight section.
2. The length of the hose assembly takes into account that the length of the hose body will shrink and deform after passing through liquid, with a general shrinkage rate of 3-4% of the hose length. Therefore, when installing the hose assembly, no tension is allowed.
3. When installing components, it is necessary to avoid twisting the rubber hose components. The joint axis should be placed as close to the motion plane as possible, and the rubber hose should not be damaged when the two ends move together.
4. Avoid contact and friction with sharp parts to prevent damage to the pipeline.
The above are the selection and assembly precautions for steel wire braided rubber hoses, which have corresponding pressure resistance tests and air tightness tests and are widely used in industries such as chemical, mechanical, and automotive.
